Privacy Protocol

By using ChellOS, you accept this protocol. ChellOS is a volunteer-driven project hosted in France and uses only a local AI model (Chell AI). No data is sold or shared for commercial purposes.

1. Moderation & Automod

Collected data

• Warnings — ID, moderator, reason, date
• Strikes automod — per-user counter (configurable auto-reset)

AI automod

Real-time analysis through Chell AI (local model, France). Messages are analyzed in memory and are not stored. This can be disabled with /config-automod.

Retention: 12 months maximum. Deletion on request within 30 days.

2. Artificial Intelligence — Chell AI

Single model: Chell AI — hosted locally in France.

• History — up to 20 messages per server
• Local processing — no transfer to third parties
• The AI is experimental

Retention: 30 days maximum. Use /clear-history to delete it.

3. Community Features

• XP & Levels — ID, XP, level per server
• Notes & Reminders — content, author, dates
• Tickets — ID, content, status, dates
• Suggestions — content, author, votes
• Polls — question, answers, votes
• Giveaways — participants, winners (7 days after the end)
• Snipe — memory only (lost on restart)
• Counting — last user, record
• Inter-server — relayed messages

Retention: 12 months maximum. Giveaways: 7 days. Snipe: volatile only.

4. External Services

AI is not part of this category — Chell AI is 100% local.

• ImgBB / GitHub — images (on demand)
• Short.io — short links (on demand)
• OpenWeatherMap — weather
• Google Speech — voice transcription
• Twitch GQL — Twitch names

These services have their own privacy policies. Firebase is used only for aggregated statistics.

5. Infrastructure

• Servers hosted in France — access restricted to project owners
• MySQL database (InnoDB) with JSON fallback
• Chell AI model — executed locally

6. Retention Periods

Data is deleted automatically at expiration or upon request.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

• Access — request a copy of your data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your data
• Objection — by joining a server where Chell is present, you accept the related processing under Discord rules. To object, you must leave that server.

8. Discord Developer Policy

• No account modification without permission
• No unsolicited direct messages
• No password or token collection
• Data used only to provide features
• No sale of data and no profiling
• No Discord content scraping
• Compliance with Discord Community Guidelines
• No illegal content — NSFW only in NSFW channels

9. Sanctions & Blacklist

• Retention: 12 months maximum

10. Terms of Use

• Free and volunteer-run, provided without warranty
• Use of the service means acceptance of this protocol
• Right to intervene in case of abuse
• Reproduction of the code or logo is prohibited
• No liability for interruptions
• Local and experimental AI — abuse may lead to blacklist
